New Year!

Start of 2010 (a bit late for the blog, I know =)


We have thoroughly enjoyed the tradition of the start-of-the-year, early morning, New Year's Day Polar Bear Plunge at Sawgrass. Each year, the weather is consulted, new rules are created (you must put your head under, who is going to be the first in,) the annual t-shirts are compared and we gleefully run through experiences of past years.

This year, we had multiple reasons to celebrate! It was Charlie's first plunge, he had his very own t-shirt made, and TJ had a series of sweatsedos created for us complete with a custom Sawgrass Polar Bear plunge logo.





The rain was coming down so it was a quick dip and then back to the house for a relaxing day for all spent reading, watching college football, eating lots of lasagna and laughing.


A perfect start to 2010!
